We were able to scoot off to the cabin really early Friday morning and we planned to stay Sunday night too, which we don't do often. The drive was a drizzly nice rain all the way there but the rest of the weekend was fantastic.
Goodness it was such a wonderful weekend on my porch and a couple of drives around he creek. Biff and Snicklefritz came up too to share the weekend.
Oh the deer were bountiful.
Plus the birds around my feeders. The one downside of the weekend, Saturday to be specific (Friday too) was the constant sound of chain saws all over the property. CONSTANT!!! Everyone was taking out trees, good trees and dead trees. It really was not fun on Saturday.
But I decided to just enjoy the time I had, the wonderful temps and our company.
