Random 5 Friday

It's that time of the week for the Random 5 Friday hosted by A Rural Journal.  Here's my contribution for the day.

1.  Don't you just hate it when you have to pee in the middle of the night but you just can't wake up to go and the urge invades your dream.  If that happened when I was a young girl I might actually pee in the bed...true!

2.  Mammogram last week.  Was a bit nervous because it's a MAMMOGRAM, and second, because I was about 6 months late getting this years done, or last years, or whatever.  Letter came and I'm good!  Whew!!!!

3.  Please DON'T let me encounter a Girl Scout selling cookies.....NOOOOOO..... I will eat them all!

4.  Old man winter is not through with us yet...here he comes again.

5.  Clayton, our sweet boy. Isn't he handsome!

We didn't encounter any Girl Scouts this year -- and that's okay!

Your pup is adorable. :)

The cookies have arrived and I am eagerly encouraging the husband and son to take them elsewhere. We so don't need them around here, but as I sold box after box with my daughter when she was in scouts, I feel obligated to buy a box or two each year.

I have to go for my mammogram in a couple of weeks. Only three months behind, oops. Yes, they are scary every year.

Oh no! Is it girl scout cookie time? Gets me every time too! Good for you getting a mammogram. I know it's a scary thing, like a pap or a colonoscopy, and you never know if something will come back unusual...we are at that age after all... But then we all have so much to live for, don't we? A girl friend of mine just received the dreaded C word after her mammogram, but it's so small and in such an early stage that her prognosis is almost 100% good. Have a wonderful, and now stress free, weekend. :)

Always love the pictures of Clayton! I have eaten two boxes of Girl Scout Cookies and am eyeing the last one. It's the Peanut Butter ones that I can't resist.

Thankfully almost all of my sources for girl scout cookies have aged out of the program. I love them, especially the samoas.
