Pet Peeves

I'm finally getting around to writing about a few of my pet peeves.  I bring this up because one of them kind of smacked me in the nose, the smeller yesterday.  I was at the grocery store after work picking up roasted chicken and salad for dinner before our dance class when a fairly well dressed lady, not much older than I passed me.  I was minding my own business when, WHEW, the smell of unwashed hair permeated my nostrils.  YUCK!  I just can't stand that awful smell of someone who has not washed their hair for a few days.  Do people just not understand how really nasty that smell is.  I know some can't help it because my mother had that kind of smell towards the end but really a well dressed woman.  I'm sorry but that is one of my pet peeves and I just had to write about it.  Smells, that is one of my pet peeves.  Like someone who smokes.  Do they not realize how nasty that smells and you mix the smell of smoke and unwashed hair, EGAD, my nose has been assaulted.  Does that sound petty and judgemental.  It might but my nose will thank you if you wash please.

I hear ya. Menopausal women who don't wash are the worst. There's an odor - like they've tried covering it up with powder instead of cleaning. Or maybe it's a severe yeast infection smell. My friends have all been warned to let me know IMMEDIATELY if I ever smell at ALL. Makes me ill.

I think stale tobacco breath bothers me the most. I'm afraid I smell it a lot on a family member... not to mention of her clothes. Such a shame.
