Last night as we were driving home listening to the radio a song came on that took me right back to our dating days. Oh my! My girls, I'm not sure you want to read this. I don't even remember the song but the memories were flooding back after nearly 35 years of marriage. When we were dating there was a radio station on in Tulsa called K-Kool (I think) and it played a genre of music that we just didn't listen to in Broken Arrow. It was like Soul Train on the radio and at night they played the most beautiful romantic love songs. That song last night just took me right back to looking at the gorgeous tall lanky blond guy that I fell in love with. The music of K-Kool put the passion in our love and I was just transported to that time last night.
Sometimes you just forget those moments that led you to where you are today in your relationship. I may get cranky at him and frustrated but I so still love The Hubby. He is a beautiful man to me and always will be. He makes me laugh and smile and I never get tired of hearing his stories even though I've heard them a thousand times over. That song last night took me to passion, kissing, and touching. Sounds of love and desire...oh my, think I'm about ready to write a romance novel here. It's good to remember those moments with you significant other. It reignites the love. You can get angry and frustrated at them but they are your life partner, your best friend.

Music always does that for me too. Takes me exactly to the place where I first heard that song. Probably why I love it so much.
Aahhhh. So you will do ballroom now?
Congratulations on the exercise! Sigh... I need to do more. I agree about remembering how much we love our hubbies.
So much fun reading today's post. Music doesn't take me back like that. I wish it did. Love the photo of you two!
