Flash Mob - Tulsa

We arrived at the mall about 4pm and walked around window shopping.  We were waiting to assemble at the end of the mall in front of Macy's.  When we entered I told The Hubby that the American Red Cross Blood Drive in much of the area they were to dance in may put a hitch in the plans.  There was still room though and he was still ready to dance.

Wait for it.....

It was getting close to time and I was getting tired of pacing.  Time was 4:45 pm and dancers were starting to wonder around.  They were told to not loiter as that would draw attention.  That was hard as more and more people were showing up.  Some even had cameras in hand as did I, a movie camera.  One guy even had a tripod with his camera, no that won't draw attention.

4:50 pm...What's that going on.  What's happened by the escalator.  What, blood.  Lady on the ground.  Security guards, ambulance, paramedics...an elderly lady fainted, fell and hit her head on the hard floor.  Now the crowd was getting bigger but not what we needed right now.  More security guards are arriving and they are standing right in the middle of where they are to dance.  Dang it.  Maybe the event will have to be pushed back a few minutes.  We wait...

5:15 pm it was determined that the Flash Mob in Tulsa was aborted.  The security guards were just way too suspicious and it's kind of hard to dance around a guerny.  Maybe it will happen soon.

That's too bad. I hope the lady is OK. I love the guy with the tripod. That's being discreet.
