Happy 2011 to one an all. We brought the new year in with friends at our sanctuary place. Appetizers at one cabin and dinner at another. It was pretty low key with good food, great conversation and I managed to stay up till midnight which amazed all. Lots of champagne but surprisingly I don't have a headache, just a sinus throbbing that is still from this darned cold. Sadly I left my camera at the cabin so no pictures, sorry. I've not been too much in the mood for that anyway or painting or anything really with this cold and all. I haven't heard from Daddy in a couple of days but assume he is doing fine. I do have a Bro and Sis that take over too. My philosophy is no news is good news, usually. I hope everyone is enjoying their black eye peas today. Mine are on the stove top bubbling away right now. They will join a ham on the dinner table tonight. The Hubby decided we needed to get back to town so he could catch up on invoicing at the office so that is where he is today and probably tomorrow. I may join him but probably will deal with the dismantling of Christmas all over the house. Things have just piled up everywhere and I need to put them back in their places so I can concentrate on my New Year's resolutions this year...

Very simple but I need to get the clutter out of the way because it clutters up my mind too. Happy 2011 to you and one last resolution that will not make it to the list but is an iffy one is that I am going to try and post every single day of this year. Yeah I know that may be a challenge but I am going to try. Here's to y'all..Cheers!
