This post is full of just stuff. Last night at bowling I bowled HORRIBLE. It was awful. I only hit my average once in three games. Luckily we won 3 out of 4 and are still in first place. We were done and I started packing up my pretty purple ball when I looked up and there was a very, very old friend, SK. I immediately ran over and got his attention. We hugged and chatted for a bit before he was to bowl on another league. We went to kindergarten together so I have known this guy all my life. He is one of the nicest people I have ever, ever met in my life. It's always a pleasure to encounter him. Doesn't hurt that he's also one of the most handsome men I've ever known too. What a package, good looking and a real gentleman. He asked if we were going to have a reunion and I had to admit that I didn't know. I guess I should get on the stick and get it together even if I can't get the usual suspects to help I could find others but you know something, my heart isn't in it either. Oh well.
I left the house early yesterday morning leaving the carpenters yet again roaming around my house. I didn't return until after bowling last night about 6:30. When I pulled into the garage I noticed that it was not full of carpenter stuff and paint cans. Oh boy! I knew they were gone, gone, gone. Hurriedly I went inside to look at the finished projects. Both bathrooms are complete except for knick-knack stuff to fill them. I have to get some photos framed and a corner shelf in the red bath and I'm through. Yeah!

The main carpenter is a really nice guy and is just gifted with what he does, a real artist. He brings his brother as his helper and really the guy is nice but is kind of, well, quite not all there. He opens his mouth sometimes and says some inappropriate stuff. He's a nice guy but just doesn't think, really think before he speaks. We had a conversation a couple of days ago while I was trying to write, he was painting a door nearby. We were talking about music and he said, "Do you know where the group Steely Dan got their name." Okay, stupid me had to say, "No." He proceeds to whisper to me that it is the name of a dildo. EGADS! I reply, "Oh really." I turn back to my computer and try to ignore. Then yesterday The Hubby said that he was really interested by some playing cards that I have on a shelf in MY room. They were from a 50th birthday party for a girlfriend, and well, they are of naked men. The point is that they were on a shelf where it was none of his business to be looking at. I was not comfortable after that. Kind of creepy. I know the guy is harmless, really I know that, don't I!
It is so very quiet here today. I'm pretty happy about that. It is the lull before the storm, when we begin the major add-on/remodel on the master bathroom in a few months.
