We arrived at the cabin yesterday afternoon to be faced with this! Oh my goodness, Oklahoma is burning up and I do mean that literally right now as they battle wild fires. Honestly, one little match would annihilate this whole area and most of Oklahoma. The drive up was very sad.
I filled the feeders this morning and waited...

...this dang red wasp. I guess they are hungry and thirsty too!
I sit out early and enjoy what little cool air, funny, cool air...really here. It's like lukewarm early morning air. Tomorrow they are predicting about 73 in the morning. That would be comfortable for sure.
