And we have several smaller ones and only put one up in our family room as there is more room in there to mess around with grand kids and adults.<br /><br />When I was growing up, there were no artificial trees. Sometimes people would cut down one of the wild cedar trees growing along highways and at other times they would cut down a nice blue spruce growing in someone's yard. The police would be out looking for a Christmas tree.<br /><br />Lots of people didn't have them and never put them up.
