I am so jealous! Your granddog looks very sweet. My two granddogs live far away in Southern California and never come to visit. Before I moved here, I would have been confused by your dog being afraid of a bug - but that was before I saw the size and vigor of Oklahoma bugs. I am actually planning on buying a fly swatter this Summer.
I recently babysat my parent's puppy, and people said I was a nice aunt. I said I think she's more like a dog sister! She was cute, and only pee'd inside twice, so it was a good visit!
I love that your puppy is hiding from a fly! Our Chihuahua pursues them throughout the house, which is usually resolved by our yellow Lab popping his jaws around the fly. The Chihuahua circles the inside perimeter of the house every morning hoping something small has entered in the night for her toying/instinctual pleasures.
So is it like GrandDog Day? Sorry, couldn't resist.
