Hot, Hot, Hot

Yes it is hot!  Summer has finally arrived.  August is synonymous with HOT and that is the truth!  I really don't mind too much, in fact I love Oklahoma summers.  I may sweat buckets but very shortly it will be fall then winter and I HATE the cold.  Even going through menopause I still prefer summers.  Unfortunately the plant life will suffer as the heat drones on but I know it is the cycle that the earth goes through and we will again rejoice in the spring and rebirth of all the new grass, trees, and flowers.  The summer sounds just bring back a lot of childhood memories of Greatgranny's and the creek and food and fun.  Come on summer bring it on!
