Some foods that helped me and my hubs lose weight when we were just trying to get fit are apples (Fiji are my favorite and I would eat 2 a day) and brown rice. I think both of these foods really help to clean out your colon and help your body work more efficiently. I can also recommend the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels and Zumba (if you don't already do these). TDS is quick but not easy, but you feel so much better after the workout.
