Blog of Note

No, I am not Blog of Note but I have a question about how they are picked.  I usually look at them and occasionally I will follow them.  I looked at one yesterday and clicked to find the lady declined the recognition of BON and that there was not even one post on her blog anyway.  What in the world is that.  Do they just have a list and throw a dart at the ones they choose for the week.  I find some of them quite boring, sometimes selling products.  How does that fit into a blog of note I ask.  I would like to know the criteria they have to choose a Blog of Note, wouldn't you.

Ooh, I was going to congratulate you :)
I've often wondered myself how they are chosen, and yes most of them are full of product sales.
I don't even look through the BON list any longer...
Great post !

I quit looking at them. Most of them are not very noteworthy.

I think they use darts. I gave up on that a long time ago. As you said, most are pathetic.

I am glad you got to see my series on Robins on My Birds Blog.

You might be interested in seeing the series I did on young rabbits at Abraham Lincoln's Blog.

I wonder the same thing. I look now and again to see if I'm missing anything really good, but mostly...I'm not.

I look at them occasionally and find the same thing. Plus quite a few haven't even been updated for months!

I really do think it's completely random to be honest and down to a PC.

I think you're right: I think it is a dart and a note.
When I first started blogging, I discovered a great blogger via BON. But after she got the title, she started reviewing books (probably for money) and got really boring. So maybe BON isn't all it's cracked up to be.
